Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Forte Capital Group.
Intern
The interview process was really friendly. They asked typical questions like "Tell me about yourself," "Why are you interested in our company?," "Tell me about your experience with [blank]," and "Describe a situation where you worked as part of a team." At the end, they asked if I had any questions for them.
- Can you share an example of a time you collaborated within a team setting?
Intern
There was 1 round of interviewing. The round was mostly behavioral questions. It also included a mock cold call to check your comfort with phone conversations. Be ready to talk about your resume experiences.
- Can you share an instance of overcoming adversity?
- Tell me about a time you dealt with and overcame a difficult situation.
- Be ready to talk about your resume.
Intern
It was just a single round of interviews with typically two interviewers. The focus was mainly on behavioral questions, though they might throw in a technical question or two, perhaps asking about the meaning of a specific term. I was a bit surprised because I'd heard from others that it would just be a quick chat about availability, but it seems they've changed things up.
- Have you ever worked in phone sales before?
