First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Forney ISD.
Autism Specialist
This was a really easy interview process. There were 2 people interviewing me and they were really informative. I learned a lot about Forney ISD and they explained the job really well. The questions they asked were relevant to the role and they shared a lot of info that helped me decide.
- Can you describe your approach to data collection?
- What specific types of data are you accustomed to collecting?
Teacher
I interviewed with the Principal, Assistant Principal, and grade level lead. The Assistant Principal did most of the asking. It felt pretty relaxed and I was able to talk about my experiences. I liked that it wasn't as intimidating as other districts with a lot of people. I only had one interview, which was great.
- Can you share some of your past experiences?
Teacher
The interview was a pleasant and casual experience with no difficult questions asked. I was upfront about not having prior experience teaching 6th grade and my background being in 8th grade subjects, TEKS, and mentality. However, it was not made clear during the interview that I would be responsible for teaching two subjects, not just Science, and that I would need to obtain Generalist State certification within a specific timeframe to remain employed with FISD.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Software Developer
It was a 3 step interview. The first was with the head team, technical question. The second was with the VP R&D, also technical. The third was with HR. At the end, we discussed salary expectations.
