It was easy and simple. It concluded in a weeks time. Had my HR follow up on each step. The people who took the interview were decent and polite. Overall good experience

The HR department was really disorganized. We talked salary in the initial phone screen, and I gave my expectations, and HR said I was within their range. Then HR scheduled a Zoom with the hiring manager and his manager. After that, HR set up an on-site tour with the hiring manager and some local management. HR said they would reimburse my travel expenses since it was a long trip. However, after two months of emailing, with some emails ignored, HR finally responded and asked for my salary requirements again (no mention of reimbursement). It turned out their offer was about 15-20k lower than what we discussed initially. I wish I had known that upfront, and I wouldn't have wasted my time driving there. Also, I still haven't received reimbursement. My advice if you interview here: try to get all expenses paid upfront, as reimbursement was impossible. Also, double-check salary expectations with the hiring manager, which I regret not doing. The on-site part went fine with the hiring manager and his manager; they were nice, informative, and accommodating.

We had three rounds: first, a writing test in Chinese and English where we talked about ourselves and how we handle problems, with 5 people in this round. Second, they did a profile and background check, with 4 people moving on. Third, 3 candidates gave a 15-minute presentation to 5 hiring managers about marketing strategies and market trends.

Since I was already an FPC employee and applied for a supervisor position within my own department, this review might not be helpful for external candidates. Before the deadline, I had to submit my resume along with a job transfer request. Once management decided to hold interviews, the process was pretty straightforward. It involved me sitting down with the director and two managers from my unit. The interview was standard, with open-ended questions that I answered honestly, without trying to impress them or say what I thought they wanted to hear.
