Applied online and the process kicked off with a recruiter screen. Then there was a 45-minute technical deep dive with the Hiring Manager. The final round was a virtual 'on-site' that included a 30-minute technical presentation about my past projects. This was followed by 4-5 one-on-one sessions focusing on technical skills and behavioral fit. The very last step was a leadership interview with a Director. Overall it was a great experience, everyone was respectful and pleasant. The culture is very mission-driven and the peers are technically brilliant. The panel was transparent and the recruiter communicated clearly throughout.

Behavioral

The interview felt like it mostly focused on my sustainable living habits. A lot of time was spent discussing the company itself, and I didn't get much info about the actual position. They also asked what I knew about the company, which wasn't much since there's not a lot of information available online.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview experience with Form Energy was great, professional, and quick. I really liked how my recruiter, D, handled things. After I applied online, I got a fast response and had a screening call with the recruiter. Next, I spoke with the hiring manager. Following that, I had a 4-hour technical panel interview that included a technical presentation and then breakout interviews. Lastly, I had a 30-minute call with a VP. I also got to visit the team at their Bay Area office for a tour. There were a few interview date changes, but the recruiting team was super responsive.
