First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Form Energy.
Battery Engineer
It was a four stage process. Started with a 15 min call with the recruiter, then a 30 min call with the Hiring Manager. After that there was a 3 hour team presentation, and the last stage was recommendations and referrals. It was pretty straightforward, but they were a bit slow getting back to me between stages.
- How do you manage when you have several important deadlines at once?
Battery Engineer
First, I spoke with a recruiter to go over the company and my background. After that, I met with the hiring manager, and then there was an onsite visit.
- Can you describe a situation where you conducted a root-cause analysis?
Battery Engineer
I was contacted by an engineer about an interview, but he asked me to call him since he's bad with schedules. When I called, he'd kind of forgotten about our interview and I had to wait for him to find a room because he was in a meeting. During the interview, he wasn't paying attention to me, and I could hear background conversations. It felt like talking to a wall. He mentioned next steps at the end but never followed up; it's been 2 months with no word. They seem disorganized.
