It started with a technical question screen, and then a 5-hour onsite that featured algorithm questions. I think there were four technical interviews, followed by a chat with a product manager and a quick talk with the CTO. It felt more like a fun technical challenge than an interrogation. Had three interviews in total. First was with Perla, she was amazing and has maintained contact from the day after I applied through now. My next interview was with James and Liz, standard interview questions. Very friendly and personable. My final interview was with Jami Jo and Mike, again super nice people and standard interview questions. Excited to work with such a friendly bunch of folks.

My experience with them was terrible. After talking to a recruiter and hiring manager, they sent me a 3 hour test and required me to only finish it in one specific language. I did. Then they gave me 6 more interviews. Then the recruiter called me and clearly said, All interviews went extremely well. This was all steps he had explained me before , so I was expecting they should be now extending offer, but he told me the next step would be two more interviews and asked me my availability , Even though It was very uncomfortable for me to take more interviews as I was traveling , still agreed to take it. One extra technical interview and last interview with CTO who came 15 minutes late and said that she has heard lots of good things about me, then asked few non-relevant question that why I am changing job, or am I currently employed or not, then asked about one contact position in my resume and why I changed jobs in my past. I had explained all these questions before over and over again for example because of Covid the company laid off, or I moved or who was the recruiter I worked with, etc. At that point, I thought she was trying to find a negative point despite all positive and great feedback they had for me. Her behavior was so impolite, she wouldn't listen to me and kept being distracted chatting with others. Finally they put me on hold for a week and when I followed up with the recruiter, he sent me an email saying that they all enjoyed talking to me, but they have more candidates that want to explore to find a better match to their immediate and future needs. Interestingly when talking to team members they kept saying to me that how relevant my past experience is to what they are trying to do. And It was surprising that after giving such great feedbacks why they pointed out things that they could easily see in my resume and they didn't have to give me interview at all. I thought they just experimenting candidates not really interviewing. And at the end they refused to extend offer for no clear reason. They wasted my time and It was a very bad experience for me. They gave me 10 interviews and excellent feedbacks then rejected my candidacy :)

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Had 2 phone interviews and 2 in-person interviews. The in-person meetings were great 2-hour sessions with senior management in SF. The team seems really enthusiastic and moves fast. However, a call with the head based in New York was a disaster. He only spent 10 minutes and asked one question, seeming to have already made up his mind and not caring about HQ's opinion. There seemed to be an issue with organization/control, which was disappointing after spending time with senior management. Fortunately, that person is no longer with the firm, which should help.
