First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Forestdale.
Social Worker
i talked to HR first, and then spoke with the management of the department. it was a really good conversation, nothing too difficult. they asked typical interview questions, nothing too hard to understand.
- How do you stay organized?
Case Planner Supervisor
The whole interview process was done in groups, beginning with groups of 4 and eventually narrowing down to 2 people. We were interviewed by HR and Foster Care Supervisors, then by the Director of Foster Care, and finally by the Executive Director. Although it took all day, they managed to conduct all three interviews in a single day. HR was very quick to let us know if we were moving on to the next stage. They offered me the job the very next day. There was no flexibility when it came to negotiating the salary.
- How would you handle challenging birth parents?
Clinical Social Worker
It was a fair interview. Questions were logical, well-thought out and what was expected. Interviewer was very kind and helpful, as well. Be prepared to answer questions relating to your clinical experience.
