I found this job online and it took about 6 weeks for them to get back to me, which was kinda a red flag. First, I had a 30-minute phone chat with someone from HR. They asked me some typical behavioral questions and explained what the company does. We talked about salary expectations, and I asked them for their budget, but the HR person wouldn't share it, saying it was for a 'perfect candidate'. That was another warning sign. Then I talked to the VP of HR via video call. It was pretty much the same thing: behavioral questions and talking about salary. Again, they wouldn't tell me their budget. After about an hour, they said they'd tell me if I moved on. I didn't get further, but honestly, I'm not upset. Even though their Phoenix office is small with only about 20 people, they said the interview process could have up to 5 rounds. It feels like what they want you to do doesn't match what they're willing to pay. It took forever to even get the interview request, and I guess they decided I wasn't a good fit based just on behavioral stuff, not my actual skills or experience. Seeing other interview experiences here makes sense why no one got an offer. For a company with less than 50 employees, they act like a huge tech giant.

I talked to three people at Foresight. First, I had a 30-minute chat with the recruiter where they asked basic questions. Then, I had an hour-long meeting with the VP of HR. The last interview was a video call with the CEO. Honestly, after about 5 minutes, I knew it wasn't a good fit. He came across as arrogant, and I think he'd be a difficult person to work for, especially in a sales role, because he's a salesperson at heart and wants to do things his way. The company is just over a year old, and he's trying to step away from sales to focus on the company's day-to-day operations.

First there was an administrator screen, then a business analysis scenario, followed by a ZOOM interview with the CEO. Putting together the business analysis document took about three hours. During our discussion, it seemed that Mr. Hanna was hinting at something without clearly stating what he wanted. For a role where communication and clarity are essential, there appeared to be a communication and clarity issue. The task itself was interesting, and I don't regret the experience, but a better, less enigmatic, and self-serving process is needed. I also don't consider the test realistic due to too many unanswered assumptions and excessive solutioning for a BSD.

The process started with a 30-minute phone interview where the focus was more on my lifestyle rather than my work experience. Then, there was an online video interview with the HR manager, which concentrated more on my work experience compared to lifestyle. The decision was to be communicated via email.
