Got an internal referral and heard back from the engineering director the next day. We chatted a lot about my experience and what I'm looking for. They set up an on-site for the following week. I ended up talking to 5 people from the team. The recruiter reached out the day after the interviews to talk about what's next. The whole thing was pretty fast and easy.

Coding Technical

The whole interview process took about 5 hours. They did not offer lunch, which was a bit rude. The questions asked were quite easy. The VP also finished his part earlier than scheduled. I never heard back from them, and I feel I performed well, answering most questions correctly, only needing a small hint on the last few during the final interview. Before that, it was all straightforward coding of optimal and alternative solutions on a whiteboard, focusing on algorithms and data structures. I'm surprised they didn't respond given my strong performance, which was better than my current job interview. This makes me suspect it might have been a sham interview, perhaps with an internal candidate already chosen. The VP's early departure and lack of apparent interest also support this. I wouldn't recommend interviewing here if you're serious about finding a job, as it might be a waste of time with fake interviews. There's no other explanation for not hearing back, and they didn't even bother to send a rejection notice.
