Had two chill interviews, each under 30 mins, with the two people I'd be working with most. Submitted an editing test beforehand.

I applied online and the publisher reached out to me directly about three weeks later. We had a decent conversation, though it was a bit strange when they asked how many other jobs I was applying to. I was honest about it. When I asked about salary expectations, since the job posting didn't include any salary information, I was told my range was on the higher side. They gave me the impression I was a good candidate and that I'd hear from the hiring director when they got back. I've followed up twice with the hiring director and the publisher, and also reached out to HR, but after a month, I haven't heard anything back. It's also worth noting that the position has been reposted with a salary similar to what I mentioned.

I applied for a job online. Then I had a 30-minute phone interview. After that, I was given a social media assignment to complete, which I did. They ghosted me after I submitted the assignment. I followed up but never got a response.
