I had one 30-minute interview with the hiring manager and another manager. It was pretty relaxed and helped ease my usual pre-interview nerves. They asked about my past work and went over some of the tasks for this role.

The hiring process took a while. It started with a 30-minute phone screen. Then they set up a Teams interview for the next week. I interviewed with the Team Manager and their boss. After about 3 weeks of waiting for the interview results, I had to do a background check, a drug screen, and provide references.

I first connected with the hiring manager on LinkedIn. HR took three weeks to screen me, and the call with the recruiter happened late, at 8pm, because they were so busy. The day after the screening, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, I was given a homework assignment, which I then presented to the hiring manager and another manager over WebEx. Unfortunately, I didn't get the job and was notified by email. Considering the process took 45 days, I expected a personal call instead of an automated email, especially since I didn't get the role. The interview process felt fair, though it was quite slow. I wish the hiring manager and the company well.

It started off very well then I went in for the in-person interview. One of the main people were sick, yet they didn't reschedule. Then after the meeting they said they would get back to me about the reschedule, but I never received any sort of feedback or follow up communication. It's now been over 3 weeks since the in-person interview.
