First I met with the supervisor, then had a second interview with current employees, and got a response soon after. It was a pretty straightforward interview process. I thought I had negotiated my time off and vacation days, but it turned out there were many holidays I was supposed to work.

It started with a phone call from New Talen Acquisitions in New Jersey who then set up a Skype interview. After that, I had a face-to-face meeting in Arlington Heights, Illinois with upper management. We toured both the clinical and housing program sites. FTR arranged for a drug test through an outside company. They offered me the position after completing reference checks and a background check.

Behavioral Other

The phone interview had some weird personal questions that didn't really fit the job. The interviewer seemed really checked out. There were big gaps between the phone chat and the in-person meeting, and I had to deal with several people just to get it scheduled. Then they texted me to set up the appointment, which felt off, I expected a call or email. The in-person interview itself was okay, but after it, there was no follow-up at all. I tried reaching out a bunch of times and even sent a thank you card, but I never heard back, even though they said they'd reply no matter what. It all felt pretty disorganized.

So, I had two zoom interviews, one with the MD and PA, and then an in person tour and interview. The second zoom interview was with the director of nursing that oversees the region. They were super welcoming and upfront the whole time.
