First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Foothill Regional Medical Center.
Registered Nurse
So we had this group interview, right? First, they just talked about the program stuff. Then, everyone had to introduce the person next to them. After that, the manager would just randomly call on people to answer questions. And if someone's answer wasn't really full, she'd ask others to jump in and finish it up.

CNA
The interview itself was short, only about 15 minutes, and the director just asked a few things. The overall hiring process took around two months, which felt a bit long.
- Why do you want to work at Foothill?
Licensed Practical Nurse
The hospital has its own recruiters who do an initial phone screen. If you seem like a good fit, they'll schedule you for an interview. After the interview, they'll let you know if you got the offer. If you do, there's paperwork and training to do. It all takes about a month to get sorted.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
- Can you describe your approach to prioritizing patient care and delegating tasks?
- What motivates your interest in joining our hospital?
Registered Nurse
It was an in-person interview and there seemed to be some confusion about the dates. I ended up waiting in the lobby for quite a while. Despite that, it went pretty well. The people I met were really nice, professional, and super friendly once everything was done.
- What is your course of action if a patient falls?
