I got a call from someone outside the company to set up an interview at the store close to my house. I met with the store manager. They asked me some questions, and then I got a call back to come back to the store to show that I'm legally allowed to work.

I applied online and then went back in with my resume. I spoke with the floor manager I see working every day. She took me into the office and we talked about my past work experience and if I was willing to work hard for people who might not appreciate it. Then, she gave me the job offer right then and there. After that, she took me to a locked office for a drug test and to complete the hiring paperwork.

I had to call to ask them to review my application and it took about a month to get an interview. The manager said they were short-staffed and trying to get new management in to set up interviews. They told me to keep calling and were nice about what times to call and who to ask for. The manager was also informative about the job description and duties.
