Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at foodpanda.
Senior Specialist
First there was an HR question, and then the next round was with the hiring manager. I think there was a test, but I didn't move to that round. HR mentioned that there weren't many interview rounds.
- On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your data skills?
Specialist
After I sent my application via a job site, I heard back from HR about a week later via email. HR then asked for the best time to have an interview. The first interview was with HR, and they asked me standard questions about my work background and about different scenarios.
- Could you explain your motivation for applying to this position?
- What is your relevant work experience?
- Can you describe a particular situation you faced and how you dealt with it?
Employer Branding Specialist
Had a first round with HR over the phone, which was pretty detailed, going through my CV and asking about past experiences and career expectations. It went on for a bit more than 30 minutes. Then, a second round with the Hiring Manager via video call, but with the camera off. This one focused on skills and scenario-based questions. The interviewer seemed really uninterested from the start, like they were just going through the motions, and the whole thing wrapped up in under 15 minutes.
- What ideas do you have for enhancing our employer branding?
