The whole thing started with a quick chat about my past work, what coding stuff I know, and if I've done the usual software dev things. Then, there were some tech interviews where they checked if I could code well, solve puzzles, and think about how to build systems. They also wanted to hear about my projects, what tech I used, and how I fixed bugs or made things faster. The last part was about teamwork and talking – like how I fit into a dev team, do code reviews, and help make solid, big software.

The whole process is 5 steps long. First, there's an automated test with typical Leetcode questions, usually easy to medium difficulty. Second, a short, basic technical discussion covering random industry knowledge like CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and testing, which is centered around your resume. This can go quite deep, like asking about goroutine implementation. Third, a live coding session with Leet Code easy/medium problems, where interviewers are friendly, and you might not even need to code it out if they like your explanation. Fourth, a System Design Interview, which was pretty tough and a bit strange with weird questions and odd pacing; the initial 45 minutes were general discussion/knowledge testing, leaving only about 15 minutes for the core system design part. Fifth, a Manager Interview, which is more of a behavioral interview to check if your resume is legit.

The interview process has 6 rounds, with each round taking about a week, making it a very long interview. It started with an HR phone screen (30 min) for introductions and experience discussion. Then, an OA (Online Assessment) with two Leetcode problems, both seemingly easy. This was followed by a Tech Screen (60 min) involving introductions and technical questions, including SOLID and BQ. Next was Tech Assignment I (90 min), which included introductions, more difficult technical questions, and a live coding session with a Leetcode medium problem and follow-ups. Tech Assignment II (90 min) also had introductions and SOLID questions, followed by a low-level design task with test writing. There was supposed to be a BQ round, but I didn't pass the previous round to get to it.
