Food Ingredient Expert
I applied online and got an email for an initial HR phone chat. Then, I had a Teams meeting with the hiring manager and the HR business partner. The final stage was a panel interview with the team where I also had to give a presentation on a topic I chose, all via Teams.
- Can you share your experience across different food categories such as dairy, bakery, meat, and produce?
Product Marketing Manager
It was supposed to be a 3-step process, but they ended up adding a fourth round which was more of a casual chat. It started with the MKT Coordinator, then the Product VP, then HR, and finally the Marketing VP. I liked the questions they asked, especially from HR, and they didn't put pressure on me with tests like I've seen elsewhere. They really dug into what I did in my last job, and I felt good during the interviews.
- How would you work with other departments when the job is fully remote?
- Can you describe your previous job duties?
- Tell me about the tasks you performed in your prior role.
Product Marketing Manager
It was a really long process, spanning two full months for just two interview rounds. The first was in December, and the second was a month later. I didn't hear anything back until I followed up, only to be told I didn't have the industry experience they wanted. They should have made that clear upfront since my resume already had all the relevant info.

Technical Evaluator
I had two calls with HR and then two interviews with the hiring managers. It was a really good experience. They all looked at my resume, and no one asked me the same thing twice across the four interviews. I only had to walk through my resume once with the first HR person and then once more with each of the hiring managers.
- Tell me about your background and experience.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Why are you interested in this role?
