I met a leader of the org at a conference and then traveled to do an onsite visit with other members of the organization. It was a very positive experience and I liked the excellent mission. I was offered the role within a week and then took some time to get contract negotiation completed. This stage included a background check.

Behavioral Presentation

So, I interviewed and felt like it went well, and they were really considering me. They even made it seem like I was their top choice and that the next step was to meet with the executive VP. They said it twice during the interview, and then again in a follow-up email, that I should expect an email to schedule this meeting. I waited two weeks and didn't hear anything. When I followed up, I discovered they had already hired someone and weren't even going to tell me. Definitely a sneaky and unprofessional management approach.

The interview process was excellent and thorough. The HR team was very competent and the staff were very welcoming. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and smiling, which conveys a positive environment. There is a lengthy application that needs to be done on paper in addition to the online application. Social Security Cards need to match your legal name on your license.
