I felt confident explaining my contribution to mitigating a zero-day vulnerability last year, specifically how I automated the patching workflow. We discussed the team’s current challenge regarding securing hybrid-cloud environments, and I was able to offer a perspective based on my experience with IAM policy least-privilege auditing and Zero Trust architecture.

So first up is the application and resume screening. Then, we hop on a quick call, phone or video, to see if you're basically qualified and if you'd fit in. After that, there might be some technical or skills tests you'd have to do. Then we get into the more detailed interviews, could be one or more, with the team or managers to really check out your experience, how you solve problems, and if you're a good culture fit. Lastly, we do reference checks and then make an offer if everything checks out.
