The application process was great from start to finish. The interviews were professional and in a pleasant atmosphere. I was invited for an interview shortly after applying. I received the offer 2-3 days after the interview and the contract documents about a week later. Everything was relaxed and fast.

I applied online after seeing the position on LinkedIn and had my first phone interview about 3 weeks later. It was with the Marketing Manager who I would directly be working with. He called a little late because he was so busy, but the interview went very well. He asked about my experience but also asked personal questions to get to know me as a person, such as what I like to do on the weekend and what I would like to do in the future. It was conversational and easy-going, and I was very pleased with how easy and well we got along. Probably my favorite interview I've had. The next step was meeting with members of the team which took a while because they said someone was sick. I ended up only meeting with two team members when I was supposed to meet with more. We met over Skype 2:1. They looked at my resume and asked me simple questions. Mainly why I wanted to work there and with that position. Also asked some questions about my current temporary job that I will be leaving. This interview felt a little awkward, which I think was a combination of them not knowing how to lead the interview and me being nervous. It was a lot shorter than I expected. Heard back exactly 2 weeks later with a nice message thanking me for spending the time but they will not be moving forward with my candidacy.

It was a pretty standard interview. First, I had a call with a recruiter. Then, I went onsite for an interview with two people from the Customer Success team. Finally, I had another onsite interview with the rest of the Customer Success team, including the Director, and also the CEO. Everyone I met was great, except for the CEO. He was a really bad interviewer, very cold and unempathetic. The whole meeting was super awkward and uncomfortable. He kept asking why I wanted to leave my job and wouldn't let it go. When I mentioned a weakness, he said it wasn't a real weakness and made me give another one. I left feeling bad for the employees there.

So I had three phone interviews and then a full day of in-person interviews. The first phone call was with the hiring manager, and she asked me standard questions about my background. Then, I got a writing assignment to create a sample blog post for Fond. The second interview was with the VP of marketing; we talked about my writing sample and my experience again. The third round of phone interviews involved meeting people from different departments to see how we'd work together. Lastly, I flew to San Francisco for the final interviews, which took up the whole day.
