The interview process was extensive and a great learning experience. I had an interview with HR first and then with other associates who work closely with the department I was looking to join. They asked me about my previous work experience, what I was looking for in a position, in a company and in an overall job experience. I had two other interviews and then was offered the position. I felt the process really resonated how important the mission and values were for the firm and making sure the person fits culturally within the company. I appreciated the different interviews because it gave me an opportunity to ask different associates what they liked about the firm.

Behavioral Presentation

The hiring process took about 7 weeks and involved several phone calls and in-person meetings with both the recruiter and the Wealth Advisor Team. The recruiter was really open about everything – the process, how interested they were in me, and about the company. It was clear from the start that company culture and values were a big deal for them, which probably explains why it took so long. Everyone I talked to was great – smart, kind, worked hard, and were humble. Note that this was for a satellite office, so your experience might differ based on location.

The hiring process was really impressive! The recruiter was super organized and kept me in the loop throughout the entire month. Each of my three interviews started with a clear goal, and by the end, I knew exactly what the next steps were and when to expect an update. I felt really confident in how they structured everything, and it was obvious Buckingham wanted to understand both my professional and personal background to ensure it was a good fit for both of us.

Applied online, then a phone interview happened months later. The whole process took a long time and I never heard back after that. They said they were really interested and requested a final round interview, but then they just disappeared.
