I applied on Indeed and got a recruiter call the next week. Then, I had a 30-minute on-site interview at their Brooklyn office with the manager and another developer. It was a bit rushed because they were interviewing other people at the same time, and two interviewers had to rotate between rooms. They mentioned they wanted to fill the position quickly and promised to respond within two days, but I never heard back.

The interview process was okay. It took a while for them to get back to me, and I'm still waiting for a response, but I guess that's just how interviewing goes, right? I'm hoping to hear back soon with good news.

It was a video conference interview first. They asked some basic prescreen questions. Then, someone texted me to set up a second round interview in person. This was a red flag for me because the person ghosted for two weeks and then reappeared with an apology about being on vacation. I decided to stop the process there.

I responded to their Craigslist ad and got a call back in about 2 days. The initial call was about 10 minutes, mostly asking about my resume and what I was looking for. I then scheduled an in-person interview for the following week. That interview was pretty straightforward, lasted no more than 15 minutes. I confirmed I had the qualifications they needed and they told me the starting pay. No problems.
