You'll watch a few long-form videos, and then you can choose to invest $72k for their franchise model, which includes $3k/month in fees. I talked to some current coaches, and they all used money from their IRAs to start this new business.

First, I had a virtual intro with the recruiter. Then, two engineering managers interviewed me virtually to check my experience and communication skills. After that, there were seven in-person interviews lasting 5 hours. I met with various engineers, engineering managers, and project managers who asked about my experience, career goals, and technical problem-solving skills. Finally, I had a casual interview with the engineering director to get a final sense of my experience and communication style, and to figure out the best team for me.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I spoke with one of the owners, and the interview began with standard product manager questions. As it progressed, the questions became more technical. He then asked for my perspective on the future of LED drivers, control technology, and luminaires. I gave a thorough response with supporting details. After we finished discussing, I was asked to wait for the next person. HR then came in and told me the owner disagreed with my answer, and they were ending the interview. The HR person expressed frustration about the owner's micromanagement and felt it was excessive to end the interview over a differing opinion. Since then, the market has developed in line with my comments.

Behavioral Technical

I had a phone screen with a recruiter and then another phone interview with the hiring manager before being invited for an on-site interview. It was around a 4-hour process on site meeting with several different people and groups within engineering in the company. No questions were too difficult; lots of discussion about my resume and how my previous work experience applied to the job description I was interviewing for. The last hour-long interview was a problem-solving session to see how I went about finding solutions just using intuition. This portion was difficult but kind of fun. Overall a very positive experience.
