Behavioral Technical

The Superday was a bit of a mixed bag, with some interviewers being great and others unexpectedly hostile. The questions were probing, but technically manageable if you've got a finance background. When I arrived, the secretary didn't seem to know who I was, just that they were interviewing a lot of people. There were no signs or directions to their office, which was a bit odd. I got a very generic, automated rejection email with no feedback, which felt a little strange and secretive.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a smooth process with great communication. There were 4 steps starting from a phone screening all the way to a presentation. I had one phone screening, then two panel interviews, and finally, a one-on-one with the practice leader. The presentation was also a panel, with leaders and peers present in person.

Behavioral Other

I had a phone interview with a recruiter at FMI. It was mostly smooth, but the recruiter didn't seem very familiar with the process or terms for the Graphic Designer role. This meant I had to explain my past experience in detail when answering their questions. The interview seemed to go okay, and they sent a skill sheet for me to complete. After I submitted it, I never heard back. The recruiter had mentioned setting up a follow-up interview with the head designer, but that never occurred.

After you submit your resume and cover letter, you might get a call for a phone interview. This is basically a screening where HR asks general and role-specific questions. If you do well, you'll move on to a series of in-person interviews with people in the department.
