Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FM.
Consultant
The interview process involved an initial chat with HR, followed by an in-person meeting with three hiring managers, and concluded with a final presentation round. Overall, it was a pretty straightforward process, and everyone was quite nice.
- Were you asked questions following the STAR method?
Consultant
It was a really long process, done in steps. All the interviews were remote. I spoke to a lot of people, at different times, which felt unnecessary. It started with a recruiter chat, then went to a few team interviews, and then even more team interviews. I also had to prepare and give a powerpoint presentation.
- What kind of behavioral questions were asked, and how much time was there for my questions?
Risk Consultant
First, they gave a quick company intro. Then I got to ask a senior engineer some questions. After that, I gave a presentation about myself and then they asked me some behavioral questions. The whole thing was about 45 minutes.
- Tell me about how you handle pressure.
