Pretty standard interview process. It usually takes about two to three weeks. There was a phone screen, then an interview with a senior person and the VP. Some roles have a technical interview.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was awesome in my opinion. The communication surrounding every step was clear and followed. HR was positive, friendly, and genuinely showed how much they loved working at Flynn. There was one over the phone interview, one Teams interview, then an in-person interview with who would be my manager, their manager and my counterpart. The in-person interviews were individual, on that same day, and right after the other. When I was asked to come in for an in-person interview, I was asked if I needed any accommodations, which I thought was awesome.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I talked to the internal Talent Acquisition Manager first. Then, I met with two HR Directors. After that, I had an in-person meeting with the Market President. Then, I met with the President of Flynn Applebees. Finally, I met with another HRBP to talk about the day-to-day responsibilities.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

First, I talked with HR about my resume and experience. Then, I met with the hiring manager who asked more technical questions about systems I know, how I'd rank my skills in those systems, and how I'd handle a hypothetical case study to see my problem-solving approach. Next, I had an interview with higher leadership that included a technical case study where they observed me working in a system. They mentioned there would be two more interviews with higher leadership, making it five in total. It felt rushed, though, trying to fit three interviews into five business days while I was still working. They weren't happy I couldn't drop everything for an on-site interview with less than 24 hours' notice. I also lost interest when I asked about work-life balance and company culture. They ignored my question about family life and gave vague answers about working hours, saying it's usually 40 but can be 50+ during busy seasons and slower during other times. This made me realize the company wasn't a good fit, as I prioritize work-life balance. They also mentioned they operate lean, meaning there's no one to cover your work when you're out.
