First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Flyhomes.
Program Manager
It started with a quick recruiter call to see if I was a good fit. Then I had an interview with the manager where we talked about my resume and the projects I'd worked on. Finally, I had an interview with stakeholders where they asked behavioral questions, my career goals, and some job-related questions.

Client Experience Specialist
I had a first phone call where they asked about me and my past work, told me more about the job and pay. Then I had live video interviews with three people: two team leads and a regional sales manager. The first lead was nice and we had a good chat. The second lead seemed bored and asked stuff I already said. The manager was cool, asked good questions, and said I had potential and they'd be happy to have me. The next day, I was told I'd interview with another lead, which also went well. After not hearing back for five days (though they said 24 hours), I was told they weren't moving forward. I asked for feedback but got no reply.

Marketing Specialist
The entire hiring process spanned over a month. It included an initial phone chat, a writing test, and then more phone calls with HR. The final round was virtual interviews where I spoke with three different people. They each gave me conflicting information about the job responsibilities. I was also frustrated by the lack of communication from the company; they ghosted candidates. I had to send many emails to follow up on my application status. It would be better if they could inform candidates immediately if they are not moving forward. Waiting without any response felt very unprofessional and tested my patience.
- What is your motivation for wanting to work at Flyhomes?
Graphic Designer
This was some time ago and I can only hope things have changed, but I was asked to pitch a full rebrand concept and have it done over the space of a weekend, shortly after the phone interview. I was asked to create a rebranded logo, mockups, branding guideline suggestions, social posts... This in and of itself was a red flag and I knew it, but I really wanted the job and rolled with it. I wasn't invited to an in-person interview, was given zero feedback on all of the work I created, and was simply dismissed with a standard stock email response saying they would not be moving forward further with my application. I am still floored at the idea that a company would think it would be acceptable to ask for a full weekend of free work from someone in the interview pipeline, and then not even be willing to meet with them for thirty minutes as a basic act of courtesy.
- What do you think of the current branding?
