First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fluid Truck Share.
Program Manager
The interview process was disorganized and long. I first spoke with HR, then a future colleague, followed by the sales lead, then the CEO, and finally the COO. It felt out of order and I found myself answering the same questions multiple times.
- Can you tell me about a time you faced a difficult situation and how you managed it?
Digital Marketing Specialist
The interview process was a bit different than usual. First, they sent me a pre-screening questionnaire and asked me to do a quick recorded Q&A video. It was pretty straightforward. About a week after I finished those, I had a series of socially-distanced video interviews. The company likes to have candidates interview in groups so you can get a sense of your potential colleagues, which I actually liked a lot because starting a new job often comes with a lot of unknowns. I got an offer not long after my last interview. Overall, the process was quite simple, everyone was very friendly, and I felt confident it was a good fit for both sides because of how thoroughly they evaluated me.
- Can you share an instance where you experienced failure and describe how you handled it?
Digital Content Specialist
It begins with a one-way Wedge interview, which felt awkward and not very innovative. HR sent a generic email without much explanation, requiring me to look up how it worked. This part wasn't hard, just off-putting, making them seem lazy. Then, I had a video interview with the Digital Marketing Manager. It seemed thorough, but she was young, making me feel like a more senior candidate interviewing for a lower position. I followed up twice because I liked the role and company, but got no response, suggesting inexperience on her part. This carelessness is especially frustrating given how hard people are job hunting now. I found a much better job, so it's good this didn't work out, but others should know to expect the Wedge interview and likely ghosting. They seem positive and innovative, but their hiring process is disrespectful and not aligned with candidate experience.
- Tell us about your personality and work style in this one-way interview.
- In the video interview, we want to discuss your creativity, technical skills, and career aspirations.
Repair Coordinator
First, there's an introductory email, then they ask you to send a video talking and introducing yourself. They contact you again to conduct an interview with the team lead and tell you about the position. The offer is written and sent to your personal email.
- Respond to some general life questions.
- Make a video to show your speaking fluency and how you express yourself.
