First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fluent Group.
Campus Ambassador
The interview process was pretty quick, maybe about 2-3 weeks total. I talked to two managers individually first, then my last interview was with the director from Fluent and the director from Microsoft.
- How would you train a group of teachers with varying devices like Windows, Mac, iPad, and Chromebook?
Brand Ambassador
Had a quick phone chat that was mostly about my campus connections. It was about using my networks to show I could spread product knowledge to lots of people. They asked about organizations I was part of to see if I knew people who might be interested and about leadership roles I've had in them.
- What campus organizations are you a part of?
- What marketing event ideas do you have for this product?
UCrew Representative
The interview process included typical questions about your interest and weaknesses. The hiring managers are looking for someone with a good personality and real interest in the program. It's helpful to research the program beforehand. They don't expect you to know everything if you haven't worked in this area before and are happy to explain things and answer your questions. Definitely ask questions!
- Can you share your interest in this program?
- What is your biggest weakness?
Student Ambassador
I interviewed over the phone. I was in Hayward, CA and the main office was in Boston, MA. I never met the Account Manager face-to-face. They asked me questions about my experience, my involvement on campus, and my social media.
- How would you bring this program to your college campus, and how would you deal with significant problems that might arise?
- How would you handle major issues that could hinder the program's success on your college campus?
