I applied online and got an interview invite from HR (A). I scheduled it using her link, but on the day of the interview, she ghosted me. I followed up about rescheduling, no response. A week later, she called in the morning to set up an interview for that same afternoon, citing email calendar issues. Again, she didn’t show up. I waited in the Google meeting for over 10 minutes, then called her. She said she forgot because she had just finished another interview. She then quickly asked me a few questions, didn’t take notes, didn’t ask if I had questions, and rushed off. Two days later, she told me they were moving forward with other candidates. This was the worst interview experience I’ve ever had. The HR team’s unprofessionalism and lack of respect reflect poorly on the company. I’ve seen others share similar stories, do senior leaders really not know this is happening?

The interview process was a complete joke and a waste of time. They waited until the final round to ask about my past job history. Why not ask this in the first round to see if I'm a good fit? Include it in the job description if it's that important. Why waste everyone's time? They clearly don't know what they want and don't communicate well. I dodged a bullet.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • I'm concerned with the pattern of your job history...2 years here, 1 year there, another 2 year stop and one that was less than a year. Why all the movement?
  • What all do you know about the position?
  • How familiar are you with our values?

I had an initial screening interview with FloSports, and the interviewer was professional and clear. The questions helped me understand the role better. After sending a follow-up email, I haven't gotten any updates on the next steps. While I know hiring takes time, better communication would be appreciated. My initial interaction was good, but the lack of communication after the interview was disappointing.

Started with a 30min chat with HR, followed by a phone screen. Then, I met with 2 engineers for an hour, which involved a Leetcode easy and an SQL question. The virtual onsite consisted of 4 rounds. Round 1 was a 1hr session with 3 engineers focusing on REST API Design. They gave me a page and asked me to design the REST API endpoint, probing me with questions on scalability, cache, and edge cases. Round 2, also 1hr with 3 other engineers, was a system design question where I had to design a small system, again emphasizing scalability, availability, and edge cases. Round 3 was a 30min session with a Product Manager for behavioral and scenario questions. Finally, Round 4 was a 30min chat with the Engineering Manager. The HR was responsive. I felt I might get an offer after the interviews.

Confirmed questions7 questions
  • They asked a Leetcode easy question.
  • They also asked an SQL question.
  • They asked me to design REST API endpoint for a given page.
