Underwriting Technician
the interview process was quite straightforward, you speak to the recruiter, then HR then the hiring manager, then the upper management. the process was fairly easy and happened in a timely manner
- Tell me about a challenge you encountered and how you dealt with it.
Field Claims Supervisor
The interview process was pretty standard, with two interviews over two weeks. Both were virtual. HR was professional and thorough.
- What's your reason for leaving your current job?
Investigator
I applied online and was called in for a chat with the hiring manager, an investigator, and an HR person. It was pretty chill, they made me feel comfortable and were super professional. I had to do an application with a scenario to work through. Then I had a second interview with the director of claims and director of HR, plus the manager from before. They were all great, seemed to really care about their staff. Both interviews were mostly about them getting to know me and my history, training, and experience. After that, they did a background check and called my references, and then they offered me the job. It was a really good experience.
- Tell me about the background you possess that would be beneficial for this role.
Examiner
I had a phone interview first, and then I was interviewed by the Claims Manager for about an hour. It was my second time interviewing with this company. Back then, you had to be interviewed by all the owners, and I was lucky to know one of them already. We talked about my resume and qualifications, and they explained the job responsibilities. Afterward, they showed me around the office and introduced me to some staff.
- no difficult questions were asked during the interview
