So the hiring process started with some initial screening tests for personality and cognitive stuff. Then, there was this asynchronous recorded interview where a video of an HR person would pop up, ask a question, and I'd have to record my answer. After that, I got to do a test project. Someone from HR sent over files with logos and brand assets, plus a brand guide. Everything took forever, like, weeks between each step, and the whole application to rejection thing was over a month and a half. That recorded video interview was the worst part, honestly. It felt like I couldn't really show who I was or my skills naturally, and I couldn't even ask them any questions.

It was a really impersonal process. They sent over a link to do an assessment. About a week later, I heard back from the assessment company saying the team wanted to do a virtual interview. It was all self-paced video and I had three days to finish it. It had some basic questions and took about an hour. After that, they just ghosted me. No follow-up at all, not even a rejection. Since I never spoke to a human, there was no one to even follow up with. It was really weird not to talk to anyone from the company. Super disappointing, especially in this market.

Applied online, then got an email to do an assessment. Two weeks later, HR called for a 15-30 min. phone screening. It was pretty standard, with typical questions. They said they'd let me know by the end of the week or early the next. When I asked about salary, which wasn't advertised, they said they don't share that info and just ask what the candidate is looking for. That wasn't great. After that, despite understanding it might have been busy, I sent about 4 follow-up emails over a month and never got a response. It's frustrating to be ghosted by employers. On June 21st, I finally got an automated email saying the position was filled.

The interview process was pretty straight forward. You either come in for an in-person interview or a video chat. You'll speak with managers, and they'll decide if they like you or not. It's definitely a sports office, so if you're a former athlete or were in Greek life, you'll have an edge.
