The interview was a round table discussion with 4 people. - What is your motivation for wanting to work at FGCU?
Administrative Assistant
They keep a candidate pool and pick from those people for the job. You'll go into a meeting room with a hiring panel who will ask you questions, which can be intimidating if you're not used to it. If they like you, the main decision-maker will ask you for a one-on-one. You'll also need to get your fingerprints taken and pass a level two background check. DUIs are not an issue.
- What is your knowledge about the University?
Web Editor
First, you'll need to submit your resume, references, and other required materials through our online form. If your application stands out, you'll then have a phone interview with some of the hiring committee members. Lastly, if you make it through that round, we'll invite you for an in-person interview that includes a presentation.
- Can you discuss your experience developing a website using ASP?
Instructor
Went through an interview and then got selected for an on-campus interview. The whole process was really smooth and the staff were nice. I had an interview with a committee and also did a teaching demonstration for a class. Besides that, there was a campus tour, lunch, dinner with faculty, and a meeting with the dean.
