First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Florida Financial Advisors.
Financial Consultant
The interview process with FFA was genuinely impressive and left me with a very positive experience. The conversation felt professional yet comfortable, and the interviewer asked thoughtful, relevant questions that allowed me to showcase my strengths. Everything was clearly explained, from the role expectations to the company culture, and the interviewer made sure I had the space to ask questions of my own.
- What are your personal goals?
Financial Advisor
The interview process was structured and professional. It started with an initial phone screening where they asked about my background and experience. The second round was a face-to-face meeting with detailed questions about financial planning strategies, client management, and market trends. Overall, the interview was challenging but fair, and the recruiters were friendly and informative throughout.
- How would you advise a client that doesn't like risk but wants long-term growth?
Financial Advisor
The interview process has three parts: first, a group info session, then a one-on-one with a recruiter, and finally a director interview. I didn't get to the last one though, and I wasn't really looking to move on. Everyone was nice and professional, but my recruiter was a bit late for our chat. They asked some slightly technical questions in the second interview, which were mostly covered in the intro session. They expect you to pay for your own certification and work on commission only until you hit a certain level, which I didn't like. I guess my recruiter sensed I felt this way, and we didn't follow up about another interview. It seems like they hire a lot of people and hope the ones who can handle it stay. I was hoping for a job that would help me out financially during a move.
- If you were to accept a job here, where do you envision yourself in ten years?
