It was a pretty standard interview process. They asked me some typical questions, including situational ones. There was also a drug test, a physical fitness test, a background check, a physical well-being check, and a psych evaluation, basically all the usual steps. They also asked about my education and past work experience.

The interview involves a panel of three or more people. They will ask five to seven questions, and there will be time at the end for you to ask questions. The focus is on policy and standards. The interview is expected to last about 20 minutes. A decision will be made within two weeks.

First, there was the people first app, then an initial background investigation, some willingness questions, and a one-on-one interview with the recruiting SGT. After that, I had to pass the CJBAT exam with a score of 75 or higher. Then came an in-depth background investigation, submitting forms back and forth. The final interview was a panel with two SGTs, a major, and the warden. The last step was a medical and drug test, and then the job offer came about a month or so later.
