The whole Math interview process is super slow compared to other schools I have interviewed with. It started with credential screening and ranking. The top 9-15 candidates get a recorded phone interview with the search committee. Then, the top 6-12 candidates are invited to campus for a research talk, a teaching talk, and to meet faculty. After that, the top candidates' names go to the Dean's office for two more phone interviews. One is about your track record and general stuff. The second one is about salary expectations. But watch out, the Dean and others might try to lowball you, so be firm on your minimum salary, or you will be poorly compensated. The admin gives themselves raises and bonuses, but others usually get nothing.

I got to town the night before. A faculty member met me at the airport and took me to dinner. The next morning, after checking out of the hotel, the same faculty member gave me a tour of the campus and the architecture school, including its facilities. After that, I met with some students for an hour. Lunch was with the faculty search committee. Then, I gave a lecture to the entire architecture school on a topic of my choice. The whole thing wrapped up with a meeting with the assistant dean.

It was a polite but long process with several interviews. Positions are scarce and it's competitive, but I'd try again. Make sure your resume and writing samples are ready, as they'll review them and check references.
