First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Flores & Associates.
Information Security Director
The first interview was with the CIO, who asked some basic questions. I was passed over because my answers lacked the incredible detail he was looking for on his high-level questions. For all of you in IT positions, STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.
- Can you describe your experience with cloud technologies?
Leave Coordinator
I applied online and heard back from a recruiter the next day who wanted to set up a phone screen. The following week, I had a video interview over Teams with the hiring manager. The whole process was really fast and easy. However, the interview with the hiring manager was a letdown. The recruiter actually asked tougher questions than he did. He asked me to tell him about myself. Then, after I explained the position, he asked me to tell him anything else that might make me stand out, and that was pretty much it. It's been two weeks now with no response, not even a rejection, so I'm not sure what's up. It felt very superficial.
- Can you introduce yourself and tell me about your relevant experience?
- Is there anything else you'd like to share that would help you stand out for this role?
Accountant
I was in touch with a recruiter who was the main point of contact with Flores' HR team. After we set an interview date, I went to Flores and met with the HR Director. She showed me around the place and answered my initial questions. Then, I chatted with the CEO/President, who was really nice and made me feel welcome. After that, I spoke with the Controller and Assistant Controller. Once the interviews were done, I talked to my recruiter again, and he said he'd connect with HR and let me know. I got the offer the next day.
- How do you prefer to learn?
Account Manager
A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn about the role. I then applied online and had a 45-minute phone chat with her about my background. Following that, I was invited to an Open House at Flores. There, another candidate and I toured the campus and talked with a Team Leader about their career path at Flores. After the Open House, I returned for another on-site interview with the CEO, Head of Training, and three account managers. This lasted about 3 hours. I got all my questions answered and was told I'd hear back the week of Jan, 7th 2019. That week, they asked me to come in for a final check-in interview and I was told I would get an offer the same day.
- Which parent do you resemble more, and why?
- Can you explain what Flores and Associates does in your own words?
