The interview process was pretty straightforward but took a while with gaps in between communication. I had three interviews in total, with the last one being for a different, more technical position. I thought things were going well and was anticipating an offer. However, there wasn't enough communication, and I ended up being ghosted with no feedback, even after I tried to follow up.

So I applied online, then had a 20-min technical phone interview. After that was the assessment centre, which went from 8:30am to about 3pm. At the assessment centre, we did a group exercise, a multiple-choice technical test, a reasoning test, and a data analysis report. We had lunch with current students, and then they let us know if we got to the next stage. The interviews themselves were a bit of a mess, in my opinion. There were 3-4 interviewers and about 6 of us, and they only interviewed one person at a time, so some people left early while others stayed late. It felt unprofessional with one interviewer making jokes and having a condescending attitude. The interview felt rushed, and I don't think the interviewers knew how to get the best out of us, so make sure to explain everything thoroughly, even if they don't ask follow-up questions, as they ask very open-ended questions like 'how much do you know about databases and SQL?'

It was a full day assessment centre. The morning had a group task (30 mins), a 2 hour test (multiple choice & essay), and a 10 min presentation. After lunch, half the candidates were cut. The afternoon had another 2 hour test (Data Analysis) and a face-to-face interview. They said they'd be in touch. Honestly, this assessment centre was a bit much, I did three assessment days and got offers for the other two, but not this one. I felt the focus was more on test-taking than practical skills. It was a long day (9-4).

It was an assessment day at Westwood Business Park Coventry. The day included a company presentation, a technical assessment, a team building exercise, and an interview. The managers who interviewed were really friendly. Lots of people were there for the assessment day, and one by one, people were asked to leave if they didn't meet the required criteria for the role. I thought it was a pretty harsh way to do things.
