First, there's a phone call, and if you pass that, you'll move on to a Zoom Interview with the supervisors/leads of the internship. The first call included basic overarching questions, like a rundown of your resume. The second interview is a bit more technical and involves two interviewers.

The job I interviewed for was for the 1st shift. I had to take a test at the front desk before the interview, which took about 15 minutes and included reading and math questions. The receptionists were nice, and the building was clean. I had an HR interview, then a comfortable interview with the Supervisor and Manager. They walked me through the building, which seemed like a quiet warehouse. I was there for about 1.5 hours in total.

I applied through Dice.com and got contacted within two days. The first interview was a 20-minute chat with HR, followed by a 1.5-hour conversation with the Director of IT. We discussed my personality, experiences, background, and other topics. He explained what Flinn does, the role's responsibilities, and the technologies involved. I received a same-day call for a second interview on Friday. This second interview involved meeting the team and the head of HR for a round-robin discussion. Afterwards, Chris gave me a tour of the facility. The company culture seems great, family-oriented, with good team cohesion and fun activities like cubicle decorating. This experience helped me realize my long-term career goal of becoming a CIO.

I applied online and two days later had a phone interview with HR regarding my background and to schedule an in-person interview. I then had a 1-hour in-person interview with HR and the hiring manager. The next day, HR contacted me to set up a second in-person interview. A week later, I interviewed with sales and an executive, each for about an hour. They asked many personal questions that were inappropriate, but I answered them. A few days later, I followed up but never heard back via email or phone. It's disappointing when a company doesn't follow up. It was also strange to hear that the original founders no longer have any involvement since the company was bought back. I recall they were very enthusiastic about Flinn Scientific.
