First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FlightHub.
Software Developer
Had a meeting with the hiring manager to discuss expectations, followed by a meeting with a lead developer and the director of operational performance. The interview focused on the FlightHub in-house PHP framework. We didn't agree on values or tech vision, and it felt like they weren't genuinely interviewing me but rather looking for reasons to reject me, possibly because they already had a candidate selected. It felt like a waste of time. I also saw a permanent offer on LinkedIn but it's unclear if they recruit constantly, so it's best to look elsewhere.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next decade?
Data Analyst
I went through three rounds back in January 2025. First, there was an HR phone screen, then a virtual chat with the product manager, and finally, an onsite meeting with the COO and CEO. All of them asked about my background and my thoughts on the current project. It felt pretty good leading up to the last interview, but honestly, after meeting with the COO and CEO, they promised they don't ghost candidates and would get back to me in two days. It's been a month now, and I haven't heard anything, and my follow-up emails are just ignored. So, yeah, not quite how they presented themselves.
- Can you introduce your past experiences?
- Can you tell me why you are interested in our company?
- Why this position specifically?
Senior Designer
I was contacted by a hiring manager via email to set up a call. On the scheduled day, she sent a last-minute email to cancel and reschedule. We arranged for a later call that same day. During the call, her tone felt aggressive and insincerely friendly, making me uncomfortable. At the end, she said she'd share the outcome in about a week. I never heard back, so I followed up via email, but again, no response. It was very unprofessional. I'm actually relieved not to join a company with such unprofessional hiring practices, as it reflects the company culture.
- Can you discuss your background and experience?
Writer
The interview process was pretty okay and didn't take too long. They asked relevant questions and were very conscientious, responsible, and professional. It seemed like they sincerely wanted to get to know you and you can tell that they've got a great process behind them. The questions were fine, not particularly in-depth, just the exact questions you'd expect. It was an opportunity and a glimpse into how they operate as a company.
