Case Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was quite long and involved multiple stages. It's important to know that advancing to the next round doesn't necessarily mean they're set on you. My experience included a case study and a total of six interviews, starting with an HR screen. Everyone I met was really pleasant and made the interviews feel comfortable, not intimidating at all.

Behavioral Technical Case

I applied because I thought the company had a lot of potential. Some employees were great, but others shouldn't be interviewing. My first Skype interview, the interviewer was late and the interview was rushed. My second Skype interview, the interviewer missed the meeting and ignored my messages. After rescheduling, they missed it again and never responded. The HR person apologized and scheduled me with someone else. My next Skype interview went well. Then I had an in-person interview. I waited in the lobby for a bit, but when they took me to the conference room, they didn't know who was supposed to interview me and didn't have my resume. The meetings felt rushed and chaotic. I met five people; four were good, but one was distracted. After the interviews, the COO said HR would talk to me, but HR was busy and would be in touch. I emailed thank-yous, but didn't hear back from HR even after a second email. I found out I didn't get an offer two weeks later.

Case Behavioral

A recruiter contacted me after I applied online. We set up an introductory call, which was followed by a video interview. This company is growing fast! They focus on managing that growth and maintaining hiring standards. There were a few bumps, but compared to other companies, Flexport's process was really organized in the end. After the video interview, I met the team, and after a few more calls, I got an offer. The questions were well-chosen to see if I was a good fit, and the interviewers were open. If you're up for hard work, learning, fun, and changing an industry, you'll do great. Big thanks to everyone involved; it made a great first impression.
