I had an interview at the Amsterdam office. The HR Associate was professional. However, the interviewers seemed unprepared and unprofessional, as if they were just going through the motions. They stated I was over-qualified and would likely get bored. Getting answers required many follow-ups, which is typical for Dutch companies.

Behavioral Technical Case

The application process was very smooth and surprisingly fast. It consisted of three following steps : 1) A questionnaire with three questions about an interesting thing that I learned recently, what makes me stand out from other candidates, and how I can add value to the company. 2) The first interview was the telephone one with the director of customs & data operations. Behavioral questions in addition to "walk me through your resume" 3) The second interview was a video one with the member of the operations team. The questions were almost the same as during the first interview, however, this time there was also a very easy business case related to freight costs. Even though I had a good feeling about the interview and my answers, I got a rejection from them. I asked for the feedback regarding my application to know what I can improve in the future, however, I did not get one.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview was easy, more like a casual conversation which was a bit of a letdown as it felt like they prioritized personality fit over skills. I spoke with three employees, and there was one unexpected discussion at the end. It was mostly casual chats with some random questions mixed in, along with three case studies. It felt like they interviewed a lot of people, which was frustrating. I wish they'd be more selective and have clearer hiring criteria. I was really interested in this role, but oh well.
