I interviewed for a Sr React Js specialist position and went through 6 rounds: initial HR screening, tech round 1, a take-home mini-project assessment, tech round 2, tech round 3 focusing on system design, and finally a hiring manager round with the director from the India engineering team. I felt it went well, and I provided examples from my 8 years of experience. The whole process took about a month, but ultimately, I wasn't selected.

Behavioral Presentation

I recently interviewed for an entry-level position at Flexcar and it was quite a letdown. Both the recruiter and HR manager mentioned significant layoffs in the HR department, which was a big concern. The final straw was when an HR manager told me to expect an in-person interview in Boston, but then emailed me 45 minutes later saying the role had suddenly been moved to Atlanta. The lack of organization and transparency was astonishing. It makes me wonder about the rest of the company if they can't even manage an entry-level interview process.

It was a really unstructured and frustrating hiring process. There were about six rounds, but HR's communication was terrible. After the first HR call, I heard nothing for two months, then got a rejection email. They only scheduled another round when I asked for details. I finished all the rounds, putting in a lot of time, just to be rejected at the end. It felt like they weren't serious about hiring and were just wasting people's time. Companies should respect candidates' time by communicating clearly and being transparent. That didn't happen here. If you're applying, expect a long, uncertain process that doesn't really care about the candidate's experience.

Behavioral Technical

The entire interview process lasted about two weeks. All the interview stages and questions were pretty typical for a tech company. They communicated next steps quickly and clearly. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and shared interesting thoughts on the company's future direction. The office was nice, no issues at all!

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Tell me about a situation where technical constraints forced you to alter a design. What was your approach?
