First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Flash Global.
Foreign Trade Supervisor
The interview was well-conducted and the people were very friendly. They administer English and Spanish tests, though I felt the company administering them made it a bit difficult. In any case, it would be good if they shared the results so both sides have the information, which could also benefit the candidate.
- Could you describe your career journey in English?
- Could you describe your career journey in Spanish?
Repair Engineer
It was a joke of an interview process! First, I had a phone interview with some third-party HR company, which was a red flag. Then, I was invited for an on-site interview with the general manager, Matt. That went okay, so they invited me back for a second on-site interview with the rest of the team. During both interviews, they kept mentioning how terrible it is to work there, but Matt was supposedly trying to fix things. I thought I did well, but when I followed up, they ghosted me. It seems I dodged a bullet. If this is how they treat candidates after two on-site interviews, I'm glad I didn't get an offer because nothing has changed.
- Is a bad process to blame or bad people?
Support Specialist
The hiring process included a resume screening, an HR interview, and then an interview with two managers from the US headquarters (in English). There would have been another interview with the director, who is also based in the US. The process took way too long, and the US managers take weeks to schedule an interview, which was rescheduled twice. Such a lack of consideration. The company gave no feedback for 2 months.
- The HR person asked a lot about availability and if I could solve things with humility, plus way too many questions about my personal life.
- Many questions that HR had already asked were repeated by the US team. I felt the process was very personalized and they don't assess your technical skills as much as whether they liked you or not.
Logistics Assistant
Objective questions were asked, and the HR management was good with clear processes explained. Basic questions about experience with certain software and the Office package were included, as well as working night hours. Some questions were also about your place of residence and your capacity for resilience and quick solutions to unforeseen problems.
- Tell me about your experience and the languages you speak fluently.
