The interview was pretty chill and the interviewer was easy to chat with. They'll check for basic knowledge about cooking, chopping, and how to use industrial kitchen equipment. They'll also cover the safety rules, like what you should do and definitely shouldn't do.

I applied online for Ramp Operator and got a call for an interview the same day. It was a super quick 5-minute chat, just asking basic things like telling about myself and how I found out about the job, and reviewing my resume. The longest part was the orientation, though. They gave me a folder of paperwork to fill out and made me watch an orientation video with a bunch of other new hires. This took over 3 hours because there was a quiz after each section. After all that, they told me my work schedule and my wage. I didn't get the wage I was hoping for, which was the advertised starting wage and seemed fair for the work, but instead, I got $8.75. I found out later I wasn't the only one this happened to. Honestly, the work isn't worth $8.75 because the workload has gotten four times bigger, and people quit a lot because of management issues, broken promises about raises for 8 months, broken trucks, and no communication from management.

Had a thorough background check and then a panel interview with six VPs. It was me on one side and them on the other. They were nice and asked questions from a list. The interview was scheduled for 45 min. It seems like they don't really know what they want, or at least didn't tell the staffing agency. Even though I kept my answers simple and in layman's terms, they said I was 'too technical'. They might be looking for someone non-technical to manage a small IT group, rather than a technically skilled person.
