First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fitness Connection.
Sales Consultant
It was pretty easy, they talked about what the job entails and how well you can memorize things, since they have specific scripts you need to know by heart. They also went over closing and sales techniques, and doing sales outreach in the community to local businesses.
- Can you memorize sales scripts?
Senior Recruiter
The interview process was really stop-and-go with long periods of no communication. I made it all the way to the final round of interviews, sent a thank you, and then just got an automated response. No feedback or acknowledgment at all. Honestly, not impressed with how they handle hiring. If HR wants to change its vision, maybe they should reach out to people who actually make it through the final interviews. That’s the usual way recruiters do things these days.
- Can you tell me how many positions you've successfully filled?
- What would you consider a normal workload or 'few load'?
- Are you familiar with the term 'evergreen req'?
Fitness Professional
The interview process was easy. It started with a phone call to confirm my interest in the job. Then, there was a short phone interview. The next day, I was offered an in-person interview. I arrived 15 minutes early, and my interviewer was prompt. Another person was present but didn't participate in the questioning. The interview was quite brief, lasting only about 10-15 minutes.
- What are your available working hours?
- What are your desired minimum and maximum working hours?
- What are your salary expectations?
Floor Manager
After submitting your application, there was a phone chat and then an in-person meeting. Your references were then contacted to get more info about your work history and skills. During the interviews, they talked about your customer service and management background, along with your own goals and accomplishments.
- In five years, where do you envision yourself?
