First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FitFlop.
Colour and Materials Designer
The interview process was a long one, spanning over four months from when I first applied. It involved a series of team calls that went on for months. The team seemed friendly and approachable, but the whole thing took ages. There were also long waits to hear back after every stage of the process.
- What are your sources of inspiration?
Fit and Wear Trial Coordinator
Had an initial hr phone call interview, then an online interview with the manager. The last stage was an in person presentation with the manager and director. Everything was organised well and communication was clear throughout. The final presentation was really interesting and relevant to the role and both the department manager and director made me feel really comfortable.
- What is your motivation for applying for this position and why do you think Fitflop is a suitable company for you?
Photo Retoucher
I had 3 interviews and a 2 hour task. The first interview was a Zoom call with the recruiter. The second was a Zoom call with the person I would be replacing along with the recruiter and the third, an in person half hour interview with the manager. Along with this I was given a task before the third interview, which took 2-3 hours of my weekend (task sent Friday night, expected to be finished on Monday morning). I was happy to take time out of my work life and personal life for these interviews and was excited by the great people and company, however I was not even given the decency of a rejection email or call. I was just ignored, even after chasing. As someone who took all this time out, it would be great to at least receive some acknowledgement from them. Very disappointing
- How do you feel about the future of AI
Demand Planner
I was contacted via LinkedIn by a Talent Acquisition Executive about a Junior Demand Planner opening. We arranged a phone interview. The interview itself was about my skills, experience, and what I could bring to the role. It sounded promising, and I was told I'd hear back within a week. It's been over 4 weeks with no response, even after I followed up via email. The job advert is no longer visible, so I assume I wasn't selected. I find this candidate experience disappointing, as a courtesy email about the outcome and feedback should have been sent. I feel like my time was wasted and I won't be applying for other roles with this company again. Very unprofessional.
- Can you tell me about your current role?
- What aspects of this role do you think you would enjoy?
