The interview process was very communicative. Many hiring processes will leave you feeling abandoned. During the process, I received updates by email fairly quickly after each interview. The interviews were open and casual. I did not receive an offer but did receive a kind email stating that.

The interview process involved a lot of questions about my background. However, I didn't receive much feedback, and the conversation wasn't very interactive. It felt like the interviewer wasn't particularly engaged with my responses, which was disappointing given my strong interest in the position and the company. I tried to follow up persistently after the interview, but unfortunately, I didn't hear back until after they had already filled the role.

The initial interactions with HR were positive, involving a follow-up to my application and a chat initiated by a personal connection. However, the subsequent interview with the hiring manager was problematic. He was late, unprepared (lacking my resume, not checking LinkedIn), rushed the conversation, and seemed bothered by the interaction. He also mentioned a potential need for someone in his NYC office, making me question the purpose of our call. The interview concluded abruptly due to his schedule, lasting less than 15 minutes. My follow-up thank you email went unanswered, and I received no further communication from HR or the manager, which was disappointing, not because of the job itself, but due to the complete lack of closure and the insight into the company culture.

I was contacted by a recruiter I already knew about this job. About a week later, I had a 45-minute phone call with an interviewer. The following week, I had video interviews with both the hiring manager and the recruiter. After that, I was asked to apply formally and agree to a background check. I decided to withdraw from the process because changing jobs wouldn't have been ideal for my family right now.
