Started with a phone interview with HR, the recruiter, basically a resume walk-through. Then a second phone interview with the department manager, more standard background questions, including future goals, interest in my field, what makes me unique, and why I'm a better candidate. After that, an on-site interview was arranged (they covered travel, which was cool). I didn't know how many sessions it would be, so I was there for hours and got really hungry - I would've planned better if I'd known. Everyone at the on-site was nice, though. It was more standard 'why you' questions and digging into my past experiences. They never mentioned the 50-hour work week requirement upfront; I found out from online reviews and confirmed it during an office tour. The office is really old and run-down, like 80s design, and since it's open-plan, there's no privacy or quiet. Then, there was another phone interview after the on-site, and they really put me through it with a lot of tough questions about my professional style.

I got contacted by Fisher from Monster and had a 35-minute phone interview. It was mostly her grilling me on why I was leaving my current job, and I only got 10 minutes at the end to ask my own questions. They seemed more interested in how I ran my current small business than the actual job I was applying for. They mentioned their services are for people with 500k+, who are mostly retired, not tech-savvy folks. I got mixed signals on their sales methods, with 'good ol' boy's network' tactics and cold emailing older people sounding like the real strategy.

Got a call from a recruiter first, then a more in-depth interview with the head of marketing. They asked about how my experience lines up with the job, and the head of marketing also went over the role and what they're looking for, like if I had experience with snail mail or email marketing. Super easy interview, but make sure you know your stuff.
