I went to their main campus for the interview. After checking in at the front desk, I waited about 10 minutes. Then, someone came to get me and we went to a conference room. I first talked with the hiring manager, and then with their manager. It was pretty much what I expected, and everyone I met was nice.

Behavioral

The interview process felt a bit impersonal because the interviewer didn't seem very familiar with the job's specifics. It mostly consisted of general "culture fit" questions, with not much focus on actual job performance abilities. It wasn't a great experience overall, but it would likely be an easy interview for someone really eager to land the role. I went through this as part of applying to many positions before graduating college.

A recruiter from Fisher Investments reached out to me about a sales position. I responded via email that I was interested in HR roles. She called me shortly after and asked that I complete a 45-minute assessment before proceeding with an interview, which confused me as it wasn't what we initially discussed. I completed the assessment and emailed her, but I never heard back. I don't know if I passed or if she finally understood I wasn't interested in the role she offered. As someone in Talent Acquisition, this candidate experience is baffling. The recruiter pursued me, but then there was zero follow-up.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • I unfortunately never got an interview that was asked of me.
